Icarus Foundation's Chesapeake Parrot Sanctuary.

Isis - Sponsored by the Cain Family!

Aptly named after the Egyptian goddess, Isis is a 15 year old female Eclectus parrot who came to our sanctuary from an appalling hoarding situation. She had been living in a small cage in a dark basement along with many other birds. Isis' bright red and blue feathers are absolutely stunning along with her coal black beak. When viewed in natural sunlight some of her feathers shimmer with iridescence.

Favorite food:  Almost anything red!  strawberries, pomegranates, sweet red peppers, apples

Favorite toy: beads in plastic bottles and shreddables

Isis' sponsorship is $600 per year or a recurring monthly donation of $50.

    Sponsored by the Cain family!
