Sonny, lovingly referred to as "The General," is a Yellow headed amazon parrot of unknown age, who came to us from a cruel hoarding situation. Sonny has been diagnosed with severe atherosclerosis, also known as hardening of the arteries, and is on daily medication to manage his symptoms. Sonny found his best friend, Tico here at our sanctuary and has become little Tico's bodyguard! Sonny loves to fly and because he is a really great flyer, his bestie has learned to fly in order to keep up!
