Tico is an almost 60 year old male, Blue-fronted amazon parrot. When he first arrived in 2012 little Tico couldn't fly, but since then he has learned how to fly and land safely so that he can keep up with his best friend, Sonny! Tico came to our sanctuary as the result of a cruel hoarding situation. Tico and Sonny chose to share a cage together, the door of which is open 24/7!
Favorite food: pistachios, apples, sunflower seeds and mashed banana with ground walnut
Favorite toy: paper birdie bagels and foam dice
