Tinker, an old wild-caught Orange-winged amazon parrot, came to us because his human of more than 30 years passed away. Sadly, no one in the family knew this precious little one's name. We lovingly call him Tinker because he and the tiny cage he was living in had a foul odor due to the filthy conditions in which he had been kept. He is missing 3 of his toenails and may end up losing a 4th (which was bleeding when he arrived), due to a lifetime of malnutrition from eating a poor quality seed diet. Now Tinker gets really excited when he sees his fresh nutritious diet headed his way!
